Nick and Amy appear to be a happily married couple but when Amy vanishes on their fifth wedding anniversary suspicion falls onto Nick. The story is told via alternating chapters narrated by Nick and Amy, as the reader you hear the events of their marriage from both perspectives. For the first half of the book, you don't know if Nick is responsible for Amy's disappearance and from the past diary entries that make up her chapters you question the 'happy couple' they appear to be.
It's a gripping thriller that will have you wanting to turn the pages faster than you can manage; the only slight disappointment was the ending, as for me it didn't come to the concise close I wanted it to.
