When spending hours procrastinating online sometime last month, I stubbled across Rooftop Film Club's website and instantly knew it was somewhere I needed to go! So, on Friday Ben and I headed to a car park opposite Stratford Westfield and settled down to watch The Theory of Everything as the sun set over an amazing view. Nestled on the 8th floor of a car park, the Stratford venue is a two minute walk from the station and is the perfect summer evening event.
Although the film didn't start until sunset, we arrived at around half 7 to enjoy the views, food and awesome cocktails! I'd definitely recommend eating at the Rooftop bar, the Sloppy Joes were incredible - the only reason I didn't have seconds was so I could fit some popcorn in during the film! Even if you don't go to see a film, the food and drinks are worth popping up there for a chilled summer's evening. I chose to see The Theory of Everything as Ben hadn't seen it and it's one of my favourite films; it was even better watching it a second time round wrapped up in a blanket and nestled under the stars.
